Job Description
One of Coldstream's fastest-growing wealth management teams is looking for an experienced Portfolio Manager to manage the investment portion of the overall services provided to clients on the team, using a broad and diverse mix of investment vehicles.
This position is located on the edge of downtown Bellevue. We have a flexible hybrid work environment (in office Tuesdays and Wednesdays).

In terms of pay expectations, we assess each candidate individually based on their experience and qualifications and offer competitive compensation that reflects the value they bring to the team. Base pay typically starts between $170k and $200k plus an annual bonus and a generous benefits package.

Specific responsibilities include:
- Serve on the firm's Investment Strategy Group (ISG), providing input on strategic and tactical asset allocation guidelines for portfolios firm-wide, including:
- Conducting due diligence on separate account managers
- Researching a range of investment vehicles
- Making recommendations on which to include on the firm's list of recommended investments for use in client portfolios
- Client asset management, including development of investment policy statements, asset allocation recommendations, and implementation and ongoing management of client investment portfolios
- Client relationship development and management, including ongoing and regular client contact and communications
- Trade and rebalance client portfolios
- Compose investment commentary and blog articles for clients
- Review and analyze portfolio returns and attribution to make recommended changes to portfolios
- Participate in business development activities, including meeting with prospective clients to discuss Coldstream's investment process
Experience and Skills
- The desire to be client-facing and ability to communicate (verbally and in writing) with clients of varying levels of investment sophistication
- A Bachelor's degree, preferably in finance or a related field
- The CFA designation
- 5+ years of experience in investment management and/or financial advisory services with the demonstrated ability to manage investment portfolios for client families
- Experience with Bloomberg, Morningstar, and Tamarac AdvisorView or other portfolio rebalancing systems
- Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and CRM software
- FINRA Series 65 license is preferred
