We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Product Marketing and Content Manager to lead the marketing efforts for our cutting-edge transportation management system, Alvys TMS. As the sole product marketing operator, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategic marketing plans to drive growth, increase market share, and enhance customer engagement.Industry Insight:

As a Product Marketing Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in marketing our cutting-edge SaaS platform, enhancing freight transportation logistics.

Work closely with the product team to stay current on new features and integrations, thoroughly understand them, and effectively communicate their value to both potential and existing customersCreate workflows to learn about existing and upcoming product features, educate the marketing team, and communicate with the wider marketDevelop and implement comprehensive go-to-market strategies for Alvys TMSConduct market research to identify target audiences, customer needs, and competitive landscape within the logistics industryCreate compelling product messaging and positioning that resonates with logistics professionalsCollaborate with product management and sales teams to align product features with customer requirementsDevelop and manage content marketing initiatives, including blog posts, whitepapers, case studies, and webinarsPlan and execute product launches, ensuring successful promotion and adoptionManage and optimize digital marketing campaigns across various channels, such as search engines, social media, and emailAnalyze marketing metrics and generate reports to measure the effectiveness of marketing initiatives and make data-driven decisionsRepresent Alvys TMS at industry events, conferences, and trade shows to promote the product and build brand awarenessFoster relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, partners, and industry influencersContent Marketing Responsibilities:
Develop and execute a comprehensive content marketing strategy aligned with Alvys’ overall marketing goals and objectives.Write engaging, informative, and industry-relevant blog posts, articles, and other content pieces that resonate with Alvys’ target audience and showcase the company’s expertise in the freight industry.Collaborate with the demand generation and VP of Marketing to generate ideas for thought leadership and lead generation content, ensuring alignment with the company’s messaging and goals.Proofread and edit all content before publication to ensure it adheres to Alvys’ brand voice, style guidelines, and industry-specific terminology.Create compelling video scripts, social media posts, eBooks, white papers, case studies, and other marketing collateral that educate prospects, nurture leads, and drive conversions.Manage and direct the graphics team to ensure visual content is high-quality, on-brand, and effectively complements written content.Conduct thorough research to stay up-to-date with industry trends, customer pain points, and competitive landscape to inform content creation and ensure relevance.Develop and pitch creative ad campaign ideas that effectively promote Alvys’ solutions, engage target audiences, and drive brand awareness.Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product, sales, and customer success, to gather insights and ensure content accurately reflects Alvys’ offerings and value proposition.Establish and maintain a content calendar to ensure a consistent flow of high-quality content across various channels and platforms.Monitor and analyze content performance metrics to optimize content strategy, improve engagement, and drive better results.Manage and mentor junior content team members, providing guidance, feedback, and support to help them grow and contribute effectively to the team’s goals.Continuously explore new content formats, distribution channels, and promotional strategies to expand Alvys’ reach and engage new audiences.Work closely with the demand generation team to develop content that supports lead generation efforts, such as webinars, email campaigns, and landing pages.Ensure all content is search engine optimized (SEO) to improve organic visibility and drive targeted traffic to the Alvys website.Collaborate with the VP of Marketing to develop and execute content-driven campaigns that support key business objectives, such as product launches, events, and strategic partnerships.Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or a related field preferred but not required.Minimum of 5 years of experience in the logistics or transportation industry, and/or product marketing experience.Proven track record of successfully launching and marketing SaaS products in the logistics sectorDeep understanding of the logistics industry, including trends, challenges, and customer needsExcellent communication, teaching, and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex ideas to diverse audiencesStrong project management skills and ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneouslyProficient in marketing automation tools, CRM systems, and data analytics platformsExperience with content creation and management, including SEO and social media marketingAbility to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environmentPassion for the logistics industry and a desire to drive innovation in transportation management solutions
