About the Role

Reporting to the Director, Finance. The Senior Analyst, FP&A's key responsibilities will include compiling and performing financial analysis, developing, forecasting and financial planning process for a portfolio of properties. This role has the flexibility to be based out of either our Vancouver Development Office or our Langley Corporate Office.

We are looking for someone with analytical, problem-solving and decision-making abilities, who is also conscientious and detail oriented in their work. The successful candidate would use strong communication and interpersonal skills to present financial analysis and data in a meaningful way that increases the impact and value for the

Responsibilities
  • Supports the organization with budget management and reporting at the corporate, entity and project levels.
  • Prepares financial and performance reporting packages tailored to the business needs of key stakeholders
  • Provides financial and performance insights based on reliable and accurate data and information
  • Help leads the forecasting, and financial planning process at Marcon
  • Builds and maintains financial models and relationships to enable efficient and timely reporting cycle.
  • Assist in reporting and other accountabilities to JV Partners and lenders.
  • Assist in the financing process including preparation of information packages and other communications with lenders.
  • Provides various scheduled and ad-hoc financial and performance reports and summarizes, explains and/or presents findings and analyses to management.


About You
  • Three to five (3-5) years of experience in finance or accounting in an analytical capacity
  • Complex financial modeling experience
  • Degree, diploma, or certificate in Land Economics, Finance, Commerce, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Designated CPA or CFA, or actively working towards a designation is desirable
  • Advanced working proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Critical Thinking and ability to prioritize tasks and/or Strong analytical capabilities and problem-solving ability
  • Outstanding ability to multi-task and attention to detail are vital
  • Confirmed ability to work collaboratively and communicate well with a variety of colleagues
  • Ability to work in in complex spreadsheets and interpret large volumes of business data
  • Excellent interpersonal (verbal/written) skills with the ability to communicate professionally to all levels of the business
  • Experience in the real estate industry is desired

Our competitive compensation package has been designed to reward our employees' skills, competencies and performance that align with our culture. The compensation range for this role is $90,000 to $120,000 annually, depending on candidate experience and qualifications.
