Akerman LLP, a top 100 U.S. law firm serving clients across the Americas, is seeking an IT Media Services Manager position for its National Information Technology Department.

This position works in a fast-paced, team environment and requires exceptional customer service. During system upgrades, system troubleshooting and other peak periods, some overtime including weekend work based on support emergencies and other time-sensitive system duties may be required. Prior experience in a large law firm setting is a plus.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for management of the team who provide oversight and coordination of media resources needed for firm meetings and functions across all firm locations
- Manage schedules, provide production guidelines, procedures and feedback to ensure quality delivery and service by the staff
- Work with local office IT to ensure successful setup, testing and break down of meetings which include IT media resources
- Work directly with vendors to ensure the best technology choices for media services and video production
- Manage team schedules, resources and deliverables
- Hiring and training of Media Services staff
- Monitor and report team metrics and performance
- Lead firm departments, staff, and attorneys in a collaborative process to select the best available media resources that address content needs
- Serve as a focal point for all technical and administrative issues concerning videoconferencing and related activities
- Daily review of all video conference meetings for coming day/week to ensure all information is current and correct; notify techs of any revisions or late bookings

Education and Experience:
- BA degree preferred
- Minimum of 3-7 Years of experience working with conferencing systems and solutions.
