Our client is an RIA located in the Pasadena area managing $500+ mil AUM and servicing HNW clients over $1 mil++ in assets. The firm seeks a Wealth Advisor CFP responsible for solid planning knowledge and HNW client relationship management skills with a high pace of daily activity and thorough client contact. The wealth advisor is an integral part of the wealth management team.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Proactively communicate with existing pre-retiree and retired HNW individuals, non-profit and corporate client relationships, thoroughly meeting current and changing needs.
  • Engage with multigeneration and related households to identify new opportunities and provide planning services.
  • Thoroughly plan client meetings, maintain accurate notes and records regarding client matters in the CRM.
  • Work closely with Client Service team to review required paperwork or updated documentation prior to meetings.
  • Keep client service team members adequately informed on all active and pending client matters.
  • Client relationship development and management, including ongoing and regular client contact and communications to be tracked, updated in CRM and reported to team regularly.
  • Communication with investment team on client portfolio updates and reviews, returns and new opportunity identification.
  • Adhere to and follow firm processes and systems around team based subject matter expertise services and client relationship management.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree preferably in business, accounting, finance, economics, or related experience.
  • 10+ years of experience in financial advisory, investment management or fee based financial services
  • Demonstrate ability to provide exceptional comprehensive "white glove" planning service to HNW clients
  • CFP or CFA preferred
  • Schwab custodian platform experience a plus
  • Proficiency in eMoney preferred, experience with financial planning a plus
  • Experience with Orion and Microsoft Office a plus


Compensation:

  • $130,000-$175,000+ base salary depending on experience
