JOB DESCRIPTION
Ubisoft IT is looking for a Game Intelligence Analyst to join the Canadian Analytics Team (CAT) which is part of Ubisoft Data Office (UDO). This team's main mission is to create the best gaming experiences by putting players' behaviors and motivations at the center of the design process. They do this by delivering in-depth player insights to guide decision-making, combining state-of-the-art qualitative and quantitative analysis through a variety of methodologies and data sources to do so.
As a Game Intelligence Analyst, you will be responsible for transforming in-game data into meaningful insights that inform game creators and benefit our players. You will also take an investigative approach to answer their questions and explore techniques to address their concerns and inspire solutions via manipulating and analyzing collected data.

Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with production team members to grasp their game-related needs, framing them into research questions to answer with data;
- Work with transversal teams with research and data expertise;
- Perform data design, analysis, mining, and source combining to draw observations, trends, and predictions;
- Carry out in-depth studies to discover new, valuable insights that support strategy and guide decision-making;
- Translate your findings into visualizations and stories;
- Present results and recommendations and discuss action plans to implement them;
- Use your project management skillsto coordinate production efforts and resources for tracking integration;
- Help build and improve data tools in partnership with other service teams;
- Participate in creating new processes and optimizing existing ones.
- Proficiency in SQLand Python programming;
- Ability to effectively communicate with cross-functional departments to break down complex information for various audiences;
- Ability to analyze data, manipulate/extract information, and propose actionable steps and improvements;
- Experience in data visualization tools such as Tableau;
- Knowledge of research processes and methods;
- Knowledge of the video game industry.
