The Swift Group is seeking a Systems Architect and Integration Specialist who will design, develop, and implement secure communication solutions and networks, including cloud infrastructure. We are seeking a seasoned professional to support our clients by integrating and exploiting advanced technologies within a fast-paced environment. This will be based onsite in McLean, VA.
The Systems Architect and Integration Specialist will lead a team of engineers to develop and implement network architecture and infrastructure using current technologies. They will work closely with clients to obtain necessary approvals and maintain compliance throughout the assessment and authorization process. This role will involve continuous improvement of equipment and software, analyzing new technologies, and ensuring secure data handling.

The Systems Architect and Integration Specialist will lead a team of engineers to develop and implement network architecture and infrastructure using current technologies. This role will involve continuous improvement of equipment and software, analyzing new technologies, and ensuring secure data handling.
Key Requirements:
- Collaborate with technical teams to design, develop, test, and implement a new network architecture, including obtaining authorizations and accreditations.
- Ensure compliance throughout the full lifecycle of the assessment and authorization (A&A) process.
- Identify and develop system requirements in consultation with clients and users.
- Provide operational testing and recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Coordinate across the organization and business partners to expedite technology approvals.
- Analyze new technologies to determine their applicability to existing or proposed systems.
- Manage solutions for online identity account life cycles and multiple projects involving infrastructure and exploitation platforms.
- Integrate data with existing platforms for analytical insights.
- Conduct technical exchange meetings with stakeholders on business and technical requirements.
Required Qualifications:
- 8+ years of relevant experience
- Demonstrated experience designing and implementing secure communication solutions and networks.
- Experience with implementing infrastructure in public cloud domains.
- Familiarity with Intelligence Community Directive (ICD) 503 and A&A processes.
- Proven ability to address and implement system security controls.
- Experience troubleshooting system issues and producing technical documentation.
- Expertise in designing cloud-hosted infrastructure for mobile and commercial applications.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Strong background in information security and handling sensitive data.
- Experience developing system design diagrams and briefing system designs to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Certifications:
- ISC2 Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect (CSA)
- AWS Certified Systems Operations (SysOps)
- Red Hat Systems Admin Certified
- Possess a Bachelor's degree in a relevant area or 5+ years of additional experience.
- US Citizenship and an active TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance required
