JOB SUMMARY
Sell and manage HVAC service contracts and retrofit projects
DUTIES & ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS Estimating and budgeting Written proposals Marketing/sales Customer development and retention Planning and scheduling Cost control Ensuring quality and performance Timely invoicing of all work completed to date and conscientious follow-up on collection of money due to ensure positive cash flow Supervision of field crews Safety awareness, training, promotion Warranty administration Design coordination BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
1 year of account management Experience. 1 year of experience in the plumbing, controls, or HVAC / Refrigeration industry. Must have PC experience in Windows environments including a working knowledge of spreadsheets, e-mail, and Web-enabled applications High school diploma or GED PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Mechanical engineering degree or equivalent Co-op or intern experience in this field KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES AND CHARACTERISTICS
Detailed oriented Ability to multi-task Strong desire to provide excellent customer service High sense of urgency Highly motivated to achieve Good mechanical aptitude Must be a self-starter, with the ability to work well as part of a team and independently Ability to use time productively, maximize efficiency, and meet challenging work goals Able to demonstrate a commitment to accuracy and quality while meeting goals or deadlines Ability to take on additional responsibilities as needed as well as determine and manage priorities with minimal guidance Must possess and maintain an exceptional work ethic, uphold company values, and demand the highest standard of conduct from self and others Must project a professional image WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL EFFORTS
Work involves moderate exposure to elements, such as hot/cold temperatures, dirt, dust, and/or loud noises. The work environment involves some exposure to construction, mechanical, and electrical-related hazards or physical risks, which require following basic safety precautions. Moderate physical effort. Requires handling of average-weight objects up to 50 pounds and extensive standing and walking. Work requires local and occasional out-of-town travel to job sites and customer locations. Performance of the required duties will require physical ability to climb permanent and temporary stairs, passenger use of construction personnel hoists, ability to climb ladders and scaffolds and to negotiate work areas under construction.
