Full-time emergency medicine physician

Twelve, 12-hour shifts per month (up to 144 hours/month); extra pay for extra callFacilities details:
Newly-renovated 24-hour emergency department with 24 private patient treatment rooms; rooms are equipped with Advanced Cardiac Monitoring Systems and feature computers at the bedside for nurse documentation; hospital physicians lounge with meals provided; and a 24-hour hospital employee gymBenefits:Generous student loan repayment assistance if neededPaid health insurancePaid malpractice insurance with tail coverageOptional, supplemental benefits package available including 403-B employee contributionPaid house-hunting and relocationCME allowanceResidents/fellows who make an early commitment receive a monthly stipend through the duration of their training or may choose a sign-on bonusRequirements:Completion or upcoming completion of emergency medicine residencyRequired Certifications/Licensures: Board certified physician or board certification eligible (if eligible, must obtain board certification within 4 years
Employed Positions. Hospital-owned physician practices-treat them as if the MD is the owner. They negotiate a salary based upon MGMA figures, which is paid to the physician monthly. At the end of the year, the physician receives 100% of the profits of the practice as he would if he owned the practice. They do not charge a fee for running the practices. As far as they know, They are the only hospital that operates this way. The physician also receives full benefits including paid malpractice, benefits package, relocation, CME allowance. Residents that wants to make an early commitment, they will pay him/her a monthly stipend to help with expenses through the duration of training.Regional Medical Center is a quality institution.
