Join our innovative team and play a vital role in a patient's journey toward healing by ensuring accurate, timely results that drive better outcomes.In this role you will: Create individualized care plans on patient under their supervision and care.Recognize and treat cancer-related issues.Monitor and chart vital signs, weight and height.Collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals to share expertise and knowledge.Conduct cancer research to enhance treatment protocols assigned to cancer patients.Provide supportive resources on the patient and the families to promote positive outlook.Teach patients and the families regarding treatment expectations.Watch and record the patient's progress on a constant basis.Administers prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with approved nursing techniques.Chart the patient's response to treatment and medication.Provide the patient with discharge instructions that are specific to the patient as well as emergency numbers after care.Evaluates patient responses to interventions in order to determine progress toward achieving expected outcomes.We require:Valid RN License in the State of New York.Bachelor of Science in Nursing a plus.2 years minimum experience as an RN.2+ years working as a procedural nurse in Interventional Radiology or Cardiac Cath Lab helpful.2+ years of critical care experience helpful.Excellent assessment, communication and organizational skills.Good computer knowledge.Infection Control CertificationBasic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
