Responsibilities:
As a Commercial Litigation Associate Attorney, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
1. Representing clients in all stages of litigation, including pre-litigation dispute resolution, discovery, motion practice, trials, and appeals. 2. Drafting pleadings, motions, discovery requests and responses, legal memoranda, and trial materials. 3. Attending depositions, court hearings, and other proceedings as required. 4. Conducting legal research and analysis to develop effective litigation strategies. 5. Collaborating with partners and senior attorneys to manage case workflow. 6. Communicating effectively with clients, opposing counsel, court personnel, and team members. 7. Maintaining the highest standards of professional conduct and ethics.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for this position will possess the following qualifications:
1. A Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school. 2. Admission to the state bar and in good standing. 3. 2-3 years of commercial litigation experience in a law firm setting. 4. Experience in attending and conducting depositions. 5. Proven ability to manage complex litigation matters from inception through trial or other resolution. 6. Exceptional written and oral communication skills. 7. Strong analytical, research, and negotiation skills. 8. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment. 9. Demonstrated commitment to providing high-quality legal services to clients. 10. Proficiency in using legal research platforms and litigation support technology.
