The Salesforce Developer is responsible for designing and implementing customizations to the Salesforce system. This individual will be a key member of the internal application support team. The successful candidate will perform work that is highly complex, varied in nature, and span multiple functional areas.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Develop & maintain Salesforce solutions including reports, dashboards, workflows, custom objects, and other customizationsMaintains and troubleshoots interfaces between Salesforce and other software applications.Perform unit testing, integration testing, and support user acceptance testingDebug and resolve issues or defects in Salesforce solutionsPerform weekly data backups, maintain backup of site configuration using sandbox refresh, build, test, and migrate configurations from sandbox to productionMaintains and creates project documentation including but not limited to system documentation, business process documentation, and training materials.Support other Force.com based applications
Requirements:Education and/or Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential job duty satisfactorily. The requirements for this position are listed below:2+ years' work experience in a cloud application developer roleExperience building business process automations or workflowsExperience with reporting & dashboard technologySkilled problem solver with the drive to follow issues through to completionExcellent communication (written and oral) and analytical skills, with a close attention to detailSelf-motivated and ability to work independently, as well as part of a team, on multiple projectsAbility to work in a highly visible, fast-paced environment independently and efficiently with minimal supervision
Required experience is commensurate with the selected job level:The Senior IT Specialist level requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and 5-8 years of relevant job related experienceThe Lead IT Specialist level requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and 8+ years of relevant job related experienceThe Principal IT Specialist level requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and 10+ years of relevant job related experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous experience in midstream oil & gas industry is a plus
Working Conditions:
The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
Usually, normal office working conditions.Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time due to prolonged periods of sitting or standing.Occasional overnight travel may be required.Occasional visits to industrial/manufacturing settings, which may include exposure to various materials and chemicals, as well as extreme temperature conditions and loud machinery, and require appropriate personal protective equipment.
