Responsibilities:
Data Mining: Use data query languages (preferably SQL or Python) to extract and manipulate oncology medical records data.
Data Cleaning and QA: Ensure the accuracy and quality of data by performing thorough cleaning and quality assurance checks.
Preparation of Client Deliverables: Compile, format, and present data deliverables to meet client requirements and expectations.
Data Visualization: Create insightful data visualizations using tools like Power BI to effectively communicate data insights.
Track Progress with Jira: Utilize Jira to create and manage tasks, track project progress, and ensure clear communication and collaboration within the team.
Client Interaction: Build and maintain strong working relationships with clients, understanding their specific needs and goals.
Continuous Improvement: Identify areas for improvement and implement best practices to continuously enhance data processes.
Qualifications:
Proficiency querying databases using SQL.
Proficiency coding in Python.
Experience with data visualization tools, preferably Power BI.
Strong proficiency in Excel.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize effectively.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
A passion for data science and its applications in the life sciences and oncology field (highly desirable).
