Workers Compensation Associate Attorney

ProfileA law firm in West Palm Beach, FL, specializing in Workers' Compensation defense, seeks a motivated Associate Attorney with strong writing skills, experience in medical records review, and the ability to work independently, preferably in a virtual setting.Duties:Manage a caseload of Workers' Compensation defense cases from inception to resolution.Conduct detailed review and analysis of medical records, deposition transcripts, and other relevant documents.Draft and prepare legal documents including pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and responses.Conduct legal research on complex issues related to Workers' Compensation law.Communicate effectively with clients, witnesses, and opposing counsel.Attend hearings, depositions, mediations, and trials as required.Requirements:Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.Admission to the Florida Bar, in good standing.Preferably 1+ years of experience in Workers' Compensation defense.Strong work ethic with the ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.Experience or familiarity with virtual work environments is preferred.Excellent writing and analytical skills, with attention to detail.
