The University of Alaska Southeast, School of Arts & Sciences is accepting applications for adjunct faculty members for the upcoming academic year 2024-2025. This is a great opportunity for individuals seeking professional teaching experience who have a passion for educating others in a specific subject. Adjunct positions are filled on a temporary basis. Join us and help turn student aspirations into reality!A successful candidate will encompass the following skills and abilities:Knowledge of accepted instruction methods.Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.Public speaking skills.Customer service skills.Providing high-quality instruction through suitable academic preparation.Familiar with computers and other technologies for instruction, such as Blackboard.Previous teaching experience is preferred.Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor's degree/Master's degree in a field related to the position, or an equivalent combination of training and experience.2 years of relevant experience in the field or courses to be taught.Position Details:This is a part-time, adjunct faculty position. Minimum salaries are set by the United Academic - Adjunct, AAUP-AT/AFL-CIO collective bargaining agreement. Salaries may vary based upon education and experience.TO APPLY:
