ResponsibilitiesHelp develop scalable, distributed systems and microservices in a production setting.Help develop scalable and resilient data ingestion and processing pipelines, monitoring and self-healing systems that power AI-based solutions for AEC workflows.Contribute to the implementation of individual software components, with a high emphasis on quality, test-driven development, and sound software engineering practices.Participate in software design reviews, conduct peer code reviews, and provide input and feedback to other members of the development team.Write unit, functional, regression tests for the code you create, and contribute to the test automation, continuous integration, and deployment processes together with everyone else in the development team.Minimum QualificationsBS or MS in Computer Science or related technical field.2+ years of software engineering experience.Experience writing code in Java or Python.Basic understanding of data ingestion and processing pipelines, monitoring and self-healing systems.Experience with serverless and managed Amazon Web Services including Lambdas, AWS Step, and SQS.Familiarity with Data Lake or Warehouses, ETLs.Experience with microservices and RESTful web services.Understanding of modern software practices including Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery, and Infrastructure-as-Code.Experience with Scrum and Agile development processes and methodologies.Other QualificationsFamiliarity with AWS IAM to develop secure solutions, specifically with resource access policies and IAM roles.Familiarity with AWS infrastructure as code solutions, such as CDK or Cloud Formation.Experience in the AEC industry, Autodesk products such as Revit, and AEC data schemas and standards.Ideal CandidateYou easily collaborate with other members of an Agile team to get products and components developed and completed.You are constantly striving to learn new technologies and methodologies.You are adaptable, customer-focused, and seek new ways to solve hard problems.
