Responsibilities
Manage and QA/QC a range of topics, including: Multimodal traffic operations and microsimulation Project infrastructure capacity analysis Freeway and managed lanes operations Arterial and transit operations Pedestrian simulations Roundabout operations Traffic calming operations Traffic signal timing Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS), including field devices and communications systems Determining intersection and lane configurations Prepare and review traffic and project reports Use software such as Synchro/SimTraffic, Sidra, HCS, Vistro, Vissim, Visum, TransModeler and others effectively to make quick and accurate computations Depending on experience, manage projects, delegate and supervise work, develop strong client relationships, and contribute to marketing and winning new projects Qualifications
4 to 8 years of related work experience in transportation planning and/or engineering Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in transportation, civil engineering, data science, electrical engineering, urban planning, or a related field Excellent technical writing, verbal communication, and presentation skills Exemplary interpersonal skills with a strong ability to collaborate with clients Strong task and project management skills Aptitude for business development PE, PTOE, and/or TE certification is a plus $90,000 - $130,000 a year
Placement within the stated pay range will be determined based upon education, experience, and qualifications.
