Agility Partners is seeking a qualified COBOL Developer to fill an open position with one of our banking clients. This is an exciting opportunity to lead OmniPay development on an IBM mainframe, working independently and managing projects autonomously.Role Summary:Develop and maintain COBOL and SAS applications that integrate with other systems within the organization.Collaborate with end users and business teams to implement and test new features.Enhance standards and services by working closely with cross-functional teams.Translate detailed requirements into functional system designs and perform unit testing.The Ideal Candidate

Qualifications:10+ years of experience in COBOL and SAS development.Proficiency in OmniPay Mainframe with an understanding of GUI integration.3+ years of experience with GitHub, Jenkins, and change control practices.Familiarity with Agile methodologies for application development.Ability to support, maintain, and document software functionality.Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to evaluate and implement new technologies.Bachelor's degree in computer engineering, computer science, information technology, or a related field.
