BCS Allegient is looking for a Project Technical Manager (contingent role) to join our growing team to support one of our federal clients. The role is hybrid and the person will need to work onsite 2-3 days per week. The salary range is between $150K-$220K (depending on years of experience). Responsibilities: Provide technical support and coordinate conferences, demonstrations, expositions, events, meetings, technical reviews, etc. Maintaining briefings; and assisting in coordinating input for data calls, such as budget exhibit submissions, congressional requests for information and budgetary drills. Support technical evaluation reviews Support technical liaison activities with senior officials in other departments, services/agencies, government laboratories, academia, and industry Support in special studies and technology advisory panels, as required. Assist in developing and maintaining key documents and master plans that incorporate all relevant studies and analyses Support technical management of programs including acquisition plan development, representation of the government project manager where required, and assessment of performance in terms of technical objectives, costs, and schedule. Support the management and execution of programs by updating Task Planning Sheets, Mission Model Canvas sheets, quad sheets, Fact Sheets, and drafting portfolio review slides Assist in the development of databases for technical and programmatic tracking of key deliverables and milestones. Prepare program status reports and after-action reports following major program reviews or key events, as required. Job Requirements: A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university Ten (10) years of experience in engineering, mathematics, or science, including biology, chemistry, computer science, and physics. Recent experience (last 5 years) in federal acquisition and budgeting Experience in S&T program management Experience in technical program management of programs in excess of $1M. Experience in planning methodologies to analyze research programs and development of databases for technical and programmatic tracking of key deliverables and milestones Experience in developing analytical models, procedures, and techniques Experience in executing and reviewing technical studies, analysis, and design Experience with DOD RDT&E program/budget exhibits and RDT&E strategic plans Experience collaborating with senior government, OPNAV, SYSCOM, Warfare Centers, Secretariat, or OSD personnel Experience supporting senior Navy S&T leadership or programs on complex tasks Experience in one or more of the following focus areas: (1) Naval/Marine Corps Naval Engineering, (2) Naval/Marine Corps Power and Energy, (3) Naval/Marine Corps Materials, (4) Naval/Marine Corps Undersea Systems, and (5) Naval/Marine Corps Manufacturing.
