Position Summary:The
Exercise Physiologist
is responsible for assisting in the development of exercise protocols and prescriptions. Recruits patients and supports program expansion, orients new patients, and performs clinical assessments. Works closely with other disciplines and specialties within the department and hospital to ensure a cohesive approach to patient care. The Clinical Exercise Physiologist is responsible for assisting in the development of exercise protocols and prescriptions in
cardiac rehab .Education:Work requires an advanced knowledge of theories, principles, and concepts acquired through completion of a Master’s degree in exercise physiology or closely related field and six months of previous experience.Required Licensure, Certification, Etc.:Valid CPR and ACLS required.ACSM – CES, RCEP preferred
