Job Description:Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Full-Stack Applications Developer to join our team! In this role you will get to support the development and O&M of a variety of systems and initiatives focused on streamlining operations, automating processes, and aligning customer solutions to the overarching digital architecture.What You'll Be Doing:Develop software applications as web services that are written in Java unless otherwise directed by Sponsor. Examples include Node JS and Angular with Typescript, and Springboot with Hibernate and messaging; Java (Groovy on Grails); Scripting languages.Develop and maintain software applications as web services that interact with data stored in Postgres, MySQL, and other relational databases and/or Cloud technologies such as AWS.Develop, upgrade, and maintain APis and search with REST-like APis to communicate with other software applications and databases as required by Sponsor.Utilize XML, JSON, or other Sponsor standards for data transfer and metadata management.Improve search and website usability and accessibility by leveraging enterprise capabilities, improving process time, and supporting legal mandates.What Required Skills You'll Bring:Extensive experience developing in JavaExperience writing SQL queriesExperience with JavaScript / TypescriptExperience with application frameworks (Spring Boot, NodeJS-NestJS);Experience developing applications with the Node.js frameworkMust know to use an IDE to code (ex - Jenkins, IntelliJ, Eclipse, NetBeans)Hands on experience with cloud technology (AWS / C2S) services such as (Lambda, SQS, RDS, S3, SNS, etc.)Experience with relational databases (ex - MySQL / Postgres), with interacting in a Linux environment (ex - Bash scripting, VI), and web services (REST) and service-oriented architecture (SOA) - Spring Boot, TomcatAbility to present and talk to technical infrastructure (Code Reviews; PDR; etc.), to work on shift between projects based on priorities, and to work well with others as well as independentlyBS/BA in Software Engineering, Science, Mathematics, or similar OR equivalent combination of education and experience of at least 16+ years program equivalent experience**** Will consider someone with less total program equivalent experience as long as they can successfully perform the role with minimal supervision.*****Minimum Clearance Required to Start:Top Secret SCI w/PolygraphSalary Range:$148,400.00 - $267,100.00 Parsons is an equal opportunity employer committed to diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility in the workplace.
