Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) , in collaboration with the treating providers and surgeons, is responsible for supporting surgical procedures through the administration of anesthesia and other medications to patients of Oregon SurgiCenter, a Urology Surgery Center located in Springfield, Oregon.Key Responsibilities and Duties:Review the pre-anesthesia assessment and evaluation of the patient prior to the surgical procedure.Develop and administer anesthesia care plan prior to surgical procedures.Administer anesthetic drugs and agentsMonitoring and measurement of physiologic variables during anesthesia and recovery.Educate patients on the effects of the anesthesia in both a pre-op and post-op setting.Maintenance and application of various techniques for physiologic maintenance, measurement, and evaluation in the operating room.Facilitate emergence and recovery from anesthesiaParticipation in cardiopulmonary resuscitation, particularly airway managementPerformance and documentation of post-operative assessment after an anesthetic.Maintains accurate, complete, concise and timely documentation in the medical record.Other duties as assigned.Successful candidates will hold a current active state licensure as a certified registered nurse anesthetist in the State of Oregon and complies with any applicable state statutory and regulatory requirements concerning CRNAs. He/she should be a graduate of an accredited nurse anesthesia program. This individual will work independently and use independent judgment to determine appropriate care for our patients.
