This team of designers, scientists, and product managers work in a highly collaborative environment to build the products and experiences that bring our community together in new and special ways.We’re looking for a Lead Product Researcher, Quantitative to join Snap Inc!What you’ll do:Identify research needs by working closely with PM, Design, Engineering, Data Science, and Growth teamsCraft comprehensive research plans, using appropriate research methodsOwn the entire research process from start to finish including, defining, recruiting, moderating, synthesizing, reporting, and presenting reportsCollaborate with the Design, Growth, Product Management, and Data Science teams to craft and carry out studies that highlight solutions for product development and emerging technologies.Clearly articulate actionable product and design insights to stakeholdersBe a strong advocate for the user – evangelize user-centered design practices and the importance of usability within the development groups, our company, and other cross-functional organizationsCarry out studies that highlight solutions for product development and emerging technologiesKnowledge, Skills & Abilities:Experience designing quantitative research studies, analyzing results, and creating reports with actionable product and design insightsSolid understanding of UX Research methods with the ability to articulate study design to stakeholdersExperience working with PM, Design, and Engineering leadsComfortable presenting work to Sr. ManagementStrong communication skills, with an attention to detailAbility to advance multiple projects with competing deadlines across the finish lineSkilled in behavioral research design, statistical methods, and general programming to improve user experienceSolid knowledge of survey design, survey bias, and approaches to mitigate survey bias; experiences dealing with large and small sample sizesExperience using SQL and Python/RMinimum Qualifications:BS/BA degree in applied behavioral science, human-computer interaction, psychology, design, or similar discipline or equivalent years of experience6+ years of experience conducting UX Product ResearchPreferred Qualifications:Advanced degree in applied behavioral science, human-computer interaction, psychology, design, or similar disciplineA great product understanding of SnapchatExperiences in natural language processingExperiences in experimental design and analysis
