KAIROS, Inc is searching for an energetic, experienced, and highly motivated Software Developer, Journeyman, to join our team. This position will require at least 63% onsite work to be done in St. Inigoes, MD.

This position performs research, design, and develops computer and network software or specialized utility programs.
Primary Duties:
Analyze user needs and develop software solutions, applying principles and techniques of computer science, engineering, and mathematical analysis.Update software or enhance existing software capabilities.As required, work with computer hardware engineers to integrate hardware and software systems and develop specifications and performance requirements.Skills and Qualifications:
Ability to perform tasks under the guidance of journeyman and senior engineers, programmers, and managers as a valuable, contributing member of the team.Strong customer relations, analytics, documentation skills.Self-starter, highly motivated, strong work ethic with a commitment to quality.Microsoft office proficiency.Ability to work within a challenging, fast-paced, team-oriented environment.Ability to work independently.Ability to multi-task and meet competing, deliverable deadlines.Detail oriented.Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.Excellent verbal and written communication skills to provide clear status and/or communicate issues.Ability to adapt to evolving technology.Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in a Technical discipline.In lieu of a bachelor's degree a substitution may be allowed for degree and years of applicable experience.Three (3) years of experience.At least two (2) years of experience must be in engineering CID systems.Clearance:
This position is subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. In order to complete the requirements for government security clearance investigation you must be a U.S. Citizen and be able to complete the full background investigation. This position requires an
Active Secret Security Clearance.
