WHAT IS AIS?

Anduril Intelligence Systems (AIS) is focused on positioning Anduril as a lead provider of specialized engineering and products for Intelligence Community (IC) customers. We work within the IC to understand their requirements, shape their concepts of operation, and deliver exquisite capability across their problem set. We aim to develop and deploy critically needed capabilities that address our customers’ most pressing national security requirements.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

Anduril is seeking a senior cloud and infrastructure engineer to build and maintain multi-cloud and on-prem resilient infrastructure to support deployment of mission-critical software.

Architect and implement defensive security controls for corporate, development, and production cloud environments.

Develop and maintain tooling infrastructure to build and support our cloud deployments.

Monitor for and remediate security weaknesses and baseline regressions across cloud infrastructure.

Coordinate with infrastructure, application, and product teams to secure environments holding critical data.

Design and develop systems and processes that enable highly available & scalable systems.

Serve as a subject matter expert for teams across Anduril looking to build in the cloud.

Lead design on a resilient multi-cloud strategy for critical programs.

WHO YOU ARE

Strong engineering background from industry or school, ideally in fields such as Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, or Physics.

Deep experience with architecting and securing cloud infrastructure in highly visible contexts.

Working experience in DevOps, Security Engineering, and/or SRE roles.

Highly proficient in multiple modern cloud providers, preferably AWS/Google.

Experience with IaC (Terraform, Cloudformation, Ansible, Chef, etc).

Experience across one or more managed Kubernetes offerings (Rancher, Anthos, etc.)

Experience with hardening and monitoring Kubernetes clusters.

Understanding of public cloud networking concepts.

Ability to write code.

You will be expected to lead a team of software engineers and must have working familiarity with one or more programming languages (GoLang, C++, Python, MATLAB) with ability to review work across a complex system.

Ability to decompose abstract program goals into achievable technical objectives and strategies for measuring progress.

Experience with monitoring and conducting threat detection against one or more cloud environments using tools such as Splunk, CloudWatch, or Operation Suite.

Experience leading and mentoring teams of engineers and working cross-functionally across partner teams.

Possess a desire to work on critical mission software that has a real-world impact.

Must possess and be able to maintain a U.S. Top Secret security clearance.
