Develop highly responsive Java Web Applications and services based on business needs and requirements for PMM.Strong understanding of databases (including tables, views, indexes, table spaces).Plan and coordinate security measures in code development.Define indexes for tables.Manage schema properties.Define data structures.Develop database application schemas.Design logical and physical databases and review description of changes to database design to understand how changes to be made affect physical database (how data is stored in terms of physical characteristics).Write, maintain, execute, and automate the execution of code required for project needs.Build and execute SSIS packages.Collaborate with other programmers and analysts while also completing workstreams independently.Clearly communicate and document technical work, including coding methodology.Create processes that improve scalability, accuracy, and automation of technical aspects of OPE’s information.PostgreSQL PL/pgSQL and SQL skills. Develop highly optimized PL/pgSQL code for accessing and retrieving data from a multi-terabyte database.Experience with large-scale enterprise-wide IT environments containing multiple technologies, physical and logical environments.Experience in Agile delivery methodology including continuous integration, unit testing, refactoring, continuous deployment, and related approaches.Work with business and technical teams to exceed internal customer expectations.Ensure system implementations meet the highest quality, security, and compliance standards.Utilize best practices, standard procedures, and techniques to develop and configure applications.Maintain a positive and productive working relationship with internal customers and peers.Write and maintain clear documentation that describes installation and operating procedures.Present applications, integrations, and prototypes for architectural guidance board review.Maintain a strong working hands-on knowledge of the programming languages and tools relevant to our systems.Conduct SDLC activities compliant with standard industry methods such as agile and waterfall, as well as the fundamentals of requirement specifications, design, coding, and testing of business applications systems.
