This position's work location is fully remote with the expectation of being onsite 1 day per week. The selected candidate may only work remotely from a New England state (ME, VT, NH, MA, CT, RI).The Assistant Director, Research Compliance will work under the oversight of Dana-Farber Cancer Institute's VP of Research Integrity, to grow and manage the activities of a high quality, robust, and sustainable research compliance program.Responsibilities:Investigates and resolves research misconduct and related allegations and issues.Drafts and maintains research integrity policies and procedures.Provides expert regulatory guidance and advice on research integrity and regulatory matters.Conducts and coordinates focused training and education for faculty and staff.Provides subject matter expertise and guidance to Institutional Committees.Participates in monitoring various DFCI departmental operations related to research integrity risk areas.Manages large, complex projects and issues with a high degree of autonomy.Requirements:Bachelor’s degree and relevant post-graduate education (JD or master’s degree in a scientific field).5 years of professional experience in research integrity and/or comparable regulatory experience.Preferred Qualifications:Experience at an academic, research, or hospital setting.Background in science or medicine is an advantage.Strong knowledge of federal, state, and sponsor requirements for research integrity.Experience developing and delivering research integrity training.
