As the Solutions Architect, the individual will work with executive and technology leaders across the OSC Enterprise and customer markets on proposals and technology investments to grow the business. The Solutions Architect will lead overall technical vision for IT solutions (Cloud, Cyber Security, Networking) for our customers by designing, describing, and managing engineering in relation to specific business problems and resolutions. The individual will have the skills and experience to understand our customers' business and technical needs and design modern, sustainable IT solutions and explore technology architecture boundaries.

Responsibilities

Leads solution architecture for the proposal team and business development opportunitiesDevelops technical solutions and proposals to meet customer technical and price requirementsMay meet with customers to discuss solution approaches and ideasDevelops and deliver technology demonstrationsDevelops basis of estimates (BOEs) and bills of materials (BOMs) as neededProvides technical expertise to the proposal team and business development organizations early in the capture phase to identify potential solutionsAssists and may develop white papers, briefings, and RFI responses in support of capture effortsLeads or participate in color reviews as neededResearches and assesses competitor technology capabilitiesFunctions as technology advisorSupports OSC's Chief Technology Officer (CTO) in developing a corporate technology roadmap. Duties include conducting research, attending planning meetings, and creating enterprise architecture documents.Assists in capturing baseline technical architecture, documentation future state architectures, and development of technology roadmaps.Provides consultation on complex projectsPerforms other tasks as required by OSC EdgeRequired Qualifications/Education and Experience

Bachelor's degree is required or equivalent experience (preferably in Information Technology, Information Management, or Cyber Security)10+ years of experience in information technology systems engineering, solution architecture, and/or enterprise architecture, preferably in Cloud Computing, Networking, Cyber securityPrior IT architect experience working in/with DoD and/or Federal contracting environmentAbility to work under pressure and meet deadlinesExcellent oral, written and presentation skillsAbility to exercise agility to changing requirements and support a culture of agility within the teamAbility to manage multiple critical projectsAbility to maintain a professional and courteous manner in difficult situationsHave or be able to receive and maintain a Secret personnel clearancePreferred Qualifications/Education and Experience

Experience working in a PMO environment either government or commercialKnowledge of a DoD IT environmentExperience and/or knowledge of cybersecurity, cloud architecture, agile frameworks, application development/modernizationTravel

Position requires up to 25% travel. Occasional overnight travel to worksites is required.Additional Information

Position will be required to work evenings and weekends based on business needs.
