Job Description

The Manager II provides leadership to leaders and/or professionals and is accountable for the performance and results of multiple related teams. Decisions are guided by division objectives. The Leadership impacts the business results of a division by setting priorities, allocating resources, and developing policies and plans.

Responsibilities

  • Manage or perform work associated with IT infrastructure & systems administration (internal or outsourcing staff) including installation, configuration, administration, support and maintenance of IT software and hardware systems, IT data/voice network systems, and internal databases.
  • Ensure the uptime, performance, and resource availability of the computers and other IT systems; matching the organization's resources with the demand placed on them; monitoring organization's wide area and/or local area network performance; identifying and resolving network problems; upgrading network hardware, software and telecommunications equipment; IT data center facility operations; and ensuring the quality, accuracy and security of databases.
  • Provide overall leadership to architecture and governance for large strategic projects and/or programs; ensure effective management of projects from inception through implementation.
  • Prepare reports and make presentations to senior management.
  • Identify and resolve operational and performance gaps and obstacles; implement changes and improvements.
  • Oversee the development and implementation of plans to implement system changes.
  • Manage and direct operations to ensure targets, service level agreements and corporate objectives are met.


Qualifications

  • Experience in leading, guiding and coaching professional staff.
  • Experience in resource allocation and management.
  • Experience in managing personnel and information technology resources.
  • Advanced knowledge of Service Life Cycle.
  • Advanced knowledge of Platform Engineering, Design, Troubleshooting, Configuration and Audits.
  • Advanced knowledge of DevOps, Infrastructure as Code, Configuration as Code.
  • Effective in producing desired results and achieving goals and objectives.
  • Experience in working with all levels of staff, management, stakeholders, vendors.
  • Effective skill relationship building, negotiation and facilitation skills.
  • Advanced knowledge of automated systems.
  • Experience in developing and managing budget.
  • Advanced analytical thinking skills to include summarizing information and clearly identifying key elements, patterns, results or relationships.
  • Knowledge and familiarity with the best principles and practices in the field of records management.
  • Experience managing a records management program in a large and complex organization.
  • Ability to advocate and manage large scale change.
  • Knowledge of applicable laws.
  • Knowledge of e-discovery and electronic records technologies.
  • Able to understand and quickly identify key issues related to recommendations and decisions, to make recommendations in difficult and complex situations, and to develop consensus.
  • Able to analyze problems, create solutions and motivate others to adopt effective courses of action and to stimulate and motivate individuals and groups to achieve desired goals.
  • 3-5 years in records management fields.
  • Effective skill presenting findings, conclusions, alternatives and information clearly and concisely.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or other related field.
  • Experience in Business Rules Engines, Business Process Management, and Case Management Platforms.

Desired Qualifications
  • Knowledge of Azure Cloud and containerized applications.
  • One or many of Pega Systems certification.
  • One or many of PMP, Agile or DevOps Certifications.
  • Advanced Knowledge of NFCU operations, processes and procedures Enterprise Linux, MS Windows Server, AIX, or Hypervisor VMware.
