Sleep Medicine Physician, Sparta

Atlantic Health System, one of New Jerseys largest integrated healthcare systems, is seeking a Sleep Medicine Physician for a great opportunity with Atlantic Medical Group Pulmonology, Sleep, Allergy & Critical Care Medicine located in Sparta/Rockaway/Hackettstown, NJ. 

The Sleep Medicine Physician will have the following responsibilities along with additional duties as assigned :

• Perform complete physical assessments
• Conduct Sleep studies
• Order medications and medical devices as needed
• Perform and order tests in a timely manner
• Assist Atlantic-health in meeting all regulatory requirements
• Participate with all quality improvements and assurance initiatives
• Participate in community education and scientific programs as directed by the Chair of Medicine
• Use and endorse the use of all the Practice's automated systems as needed
• Conduct appropriate follow up to ensure appropriate levels of care
• Ensure all preventative medicine testing is conducted on a routine basis
• The position will offer the opportunity to teach residents and mentor graduating fellows
• Night and weekend call coverage determined by System Associate Medical Director - revised from time to time

Qualifications: 

• BE/BC Sleep Medicine
• NJ licensed or eligible for licensure 
• Both new graduates and experienced physicians are encouraged to apply
