Children's Wisconsin affiliated Westbrook Pediatrics is seeking a pediatrician for a 2025 start to provide appropriate pediatric care services to patients.  Responsible for examining, diagnosing, and treating children with a wide variety of injuries and illnesses.  Routine check-ups for patients with the intent of monitoring a childs growth and development from birth to adulthood.

Requirements:

  • Current licensure to practice medicine in the State of Wisconsin.
  • Current CPR certification - Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers through American Heart or American Red Cross is required.
  • Current malpractice insurance at a level of $400,000/$1,000,000 as well as participation in the Patient Compensation Fund.
  • Current DEA number.
  • Board Eligible; Board Certified by the ABP within three years after completion of pediatric residency.  Active maintenance of board certification from the American Board of Pediatrics.
  • CHW medical staff membership in the Department of Medicine with core privileges in pediatrics.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in skills necessary to manage urgent care patients normally acquired during pediatric residency training.
  • Must demonstrate good communication and interpersonal skills when dealing with fellow physicians, nurses, patients, families and other staff.
  • Good medical record documentation skills as demonstrated by legibility, concise and pertinent entries.
  • Demonstrated ability and interest in teaching, which will include student level and professionals (nurses, pediatric nurse practitioners, interns/residents).
