is seeking a BC/BE Pediatric Hospital Medicine physician to join their team of 75 + providers, working at two of our 5 Pediatric Hospitalist locations in the greater Charlotte area. This is a wonderful chance to join the leadership team while working virtually from home and at the regions premier childrens hospital with exposure to a wide range of inpatient cases.Position details:Oversite over the NEW Hospital at Home Program with opportunities to lead division level research in this emerging care model arena.Schedule consisting of 8 shifts/month as a

VIRTUAL

hospitalist, rounding on patients via Video platform, and 6 shifts/month Atrium Health Levine Childrens Hospital.Weekend coverage 1 out of every 2.6 weekends on averageThis will be an inpatient, shift based roleVirtual days can be done from home with good network connectionQualification requirements:Board certified or Board eligible in General Pediatrics is required.

BC/BE in PHM preferred.Experience with Lumbar Puncture and comfort managing progressive and complex patients required.Experience in inpatient pediatric medicine is requiredPrior leadership experience encouraged but not requiredAtrium Health Virtual Hospital is one of the first in the nation to deliver in-home hospital based care.

Patients are admitted from EDs and inpatient services across the Greater Charlotte Region into the program.

Patients are cared for with 24-hour virtual pediatric nursing, twice daily on-site paramedicine team, and 24-hour virtual physician coverage.Atrium Health Levine Childrens Hospital (LCH)
