Oracle RAC, Oracle Data Guard, RMAN backups, Oracle Enterprise Monitoring (OEM), Oracle ZFS storage applianceExperience with Jira and ConfluenceExperience with Relational database design tools such as Power DesignerPerform Database Administration (DBA) activities on a daily basis such as monitoring storage, database performance, and RMAN back up verificationEnsure standby DataGuard databases are functioning properly with minimal lag timeDevelop strategies to migrate data between environmentsIdentify and resolve database performance issuesSupport the database design, development, implementation, information storage and retrieval, data flow and analysis activitiesSupport the analysis and evaluation of system improvements, optimization, development and/or maintenance efforts.Translate a set of requirements and data into usable database schemasCreate and update data models using PowerDesignerAssist in developing database structures that fit into the overall architecture of the system under development.Develop a database structure that fits into the overall architecture of the system under development and has to make trades among data volumes, number of users, logical and physical distribution, response times, retention rules, security and domain controls.Direct the development of complex systems using queries, tables, Open-Database Connectivity and database storage and retrieval.
