Your mission
We are looking for a Director of Sales/ Business Development for the North Americas region. The Ideal candidate will drive the sales of all Partex group products and generate leads while handling key accounts. The exact scope will depend on the experience/seniority of the candidate.Currently, the Partex portfolio includes Healthcare AI services, including generative AI tools, wet-lab screening services, patient data and patient data management services.This position will require you to travel for business and have a high degree of built-in decision-making and accountability.Our company and its subsidiaries operate from different sites worldwide, including Germany, Switzerland, India, and the USA. This means you'll be able to directly contribute to high-leverage activities and interact with people from different backgrounds and regions.
Your Responsibilities
Identify key stakeholders in Pharma, Biotech companies and build relationships to pitch Partex Services
Sell the Partex group products. Selling means generating revenues through software licenses, fee-for-service sales, risk-sharing & milestone collaboration
Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to achieve company revenue goals.
Identify and target new business opportunities and market segments.
Create and manage sales forecasts and performance metrics
Attend industry events and conferences to network and promote the company.
Prepare and present regular sales reports to senior management.
Analyze sales data to identify areas for improvement and growth.
Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) and adjust strategies accordingly.
Lead efforts to close high-value deals and manage key accounts.
Negotiate contracts and agreements to maximize profitability.
Your profile
Experience: Minimum of 7 years of experience in sales
Education: Bachelor's / Master's/PhD Degree preferably in a Scientific or Medical field ideally combined with either a Business, Marketing, or Communications degree or the corresponding experience in the field
Industry Knowledge:Strong background in life sciences and familiarity with industry-specific sales cycles and processes.
Sales Expertise: Proven track record of closing deals, managing key accounts, and achieving sales targets. A good network in the Pharma/Biotech field
Communication Skills:Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to influence and negotiate effectively.
Analytical Skills:Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret sales data and market trends.
Interpersonal Skills:Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and partners.
Adaptability:Flexible and adaptable to changing market conditions and business needs.
Self-motivation: Highly self-motivated and able to work independently without a team.
