Computational Linguist

We are looking for a Computational Linguist to help develop, maintain and refine instructions and labeled data for our language processing models, through automated and manual methods. At Infinitus, we encourage engineers to take ownership over technical and product decisions, closely interact with users to collect feedback, and contribute to a thoughtful, dynamic team culture.At Infinitus you will:Assist in improving our conversational AI systemConduct qualitative and quantitate analyses of conversational dataDefine data labels and rules for annotating dataAuto label and cluster unstructured textExecute data transformations from raw logs to structured training dataTrain and help maintain production ML systemsCraft and fine tune instructions for large language modelsWork collaboratively with product, business and machine learning stakeholders to understand their needsDevelop compelling dashboards and automated reportingCommunicate results and present insightsWe are looking for someone with:Strong experience in analyzing text data with Python and SQLExperience with prompt engineering and LLMs2-4 years of experience working with data and/or a master’s degree in a data science related fieldBackground in Natural Language Processing or Computational LinguisticsExperience with data visualization (e.g. Tableau, Looker, DataStudio, R, Matplotlib)Excellent verbal and written communicationNice to have:Knowledge of Google Cloud platform (BigQuery, DataStudio)Experience at an early-stage startup
