Medical, Dental, Vision, Retirement Planning (403b), etc.SUMMARYThe Housing Supportive Services Program (HSSP) provides comprehensive and intensive field-based community mental health services to individuals in Permanent Supportive Housing (PSH) who are formerly homeless and have a Severe Mental Illness (SMI) or Serious Emotional Disturbance (SED). The Clinician will conduct psychotherapy with adult members in various settings to ensure housing stability and community integration.ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIESProvide, coordinate, and implement mental health and recovery support services with individual membersConduct individual, family, and group psychotherapyDevelop effective relationships with members to facilitate independence and improved healthCollaborate with members to develop individual service plansAssist with program evaluation and modificationHelp members engage in daily activities, socialization, and health maintenanceWork cohesively with the HSSP teamMaintain accurate member filesQUALIFICATIONS:Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, or related fieldValid registration or licensure with the California Board of Behavioral SciencesCurrent, valid California Driver’s License with reliable vehicleOutstanding clinical and team-building skillsDetail-oriented with excellent time management and communication skillsWORK ENVIRONMENTCombination of field and office environmentRequired to sit, stand, bend; occasionally lift or carry up to 35 lbs.May need to walk or drive to different local sitesExposure to elements like cold, heat, dust, noise, and odorAbility to prioritize tasks and work in a team environmentPerform other duties as assignedEqual Opportunity EmployerThe People Concern is an equal opportunity employer dedicated to non-discrimination in employment.
