All Swedish facilities honor active compact license. 2 Yr Exp UNIT DOES NOT ACCEPT FIRST TIME TRAVELER Call Required: Yes, typically 6 evenings and one weekend per 6 weeks Weekend Shifts Per Contract: typically one weekend per 6 week on stand by. must respond within 30 minutes of call back. - Medication System: Pyxis - Documentation system: EPIC, McKesson - Communication: SBAR UNIT DETAILS - procedures room. 3 cath labs, one hybrid OR SKILLS Work Settings - Diagnostic Cardiac Cath Lab, Interventional Cardiac Cath Lab (REQUIRED) - Special Procedures (PREFERRED Cardiac Cath Lab Procedures - REQUIRED: Cardiac Stent Placement, Diagnostic Catheterizations Adult, IABP Placement/Removal, Impella insertion, Left heart catheterization, Percutaneous Coronary Interventions (PCI), Percutaneous Transluminal Coronary Angioplasty (PTCA), Right heart catheterization, Rotablader athrectomy, Temporary Pacemaker, Ventricular Assist Device Insertion - PREFERRED: Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT), Pulmonary Artery (PA) line insertion, Transcatheter Aortic Valve implantation/Replacement (TAVI/TAVR), Watchman Equipment and Devices (REQUIRED) - Fluoroscopy, Siemens Procedural Responsibilities (REQUIRED) - Accurate monitoring, Equipment set up, Perform EKG lead placement, Prep access site, Recognition of life-threatening arrhythmias, Room circulator, Scrub- maintain sterile field, Vascular Closure Systems (Perclose, StarClose) Professional Knowledge and Skills - REQUIRED: Isolation Precautions - PREFERRED: Use of Rapid Response team Scrubs: Provided All units that have on- call requirements require a 30-minute response time. It is outlined as a standard requirement in the unit description. All Swedish facilities with units that necessitate on-call coverage have a response time of 30 min from when the traveler is called in.
