benefits are offered to all full-time employees: Family Health and Prescription Insurance, Family Dental Insurance, Family Vision Insurance, Life Insurance, Short-term Disability, and an Employee Assistance Program.Job ObjectiveThe Corporate Fixed-Wing Pilot manages the company’s corporate fleet and assists the Director of Operations in other duties related to fixed-wing training policies, procedures, standards, and controls.Essential FunctionsDirectly responsible for, and is the final authority as to the operation of the assigned aircraft at all timesPerform duties in a professional and courteous manner to include interaction with customers, co-workers, Metro Aviation management, and the general publicMaintains Pilot-In-Command qualification in both company aircraft (Citation CE-550 and King Air F90)Comply with all directives and guidance of the Metro Aviation, Inc. General Operations Manual, Operations Specifications, Policy & Procedures, Company Bulletins, Federal Aviation Regulations and any other guidance/directives/regulations as applicablePerform proper pre-flight inspection, servicing and confirm aircraft airworthinessMaintain the cleanliness of the assigned aircraft to include: (The exterior (washing) and interior)Assist in pilot recruiting activities to include coordination and participation in the interview processAssist with aspects of fixed-wing training with contract vendorsAssist with aspects of the TSA Twelve Five Standard Security ProgramRequirementsKnowledge, Skills, & Abilities (KSA)Effective oral and written communication skillsPossess sound judgment and objectivity in decision-makingAbility to create an environment that demonstrates teamwork and professionalism with diverse personalities and professional backgroundsAbility to maintain cooperative and harmonious relationships with internal and external customersDemonstrated leadership qualities and strong initiativeProficient in directing and guidingEducation & ExperienceRequired CertificatesFAA Commercial, Multi-Instrument CertificateFAA 2nd Class MedicalCurrent United States PassportMinimum Required ExperienceTotal flight time =
