Neurophysiology Tech, Neurophysiology, PRN Variable shift

JOB PURPOSE:Perform all aspects of diagnostic testing in the EEG Lab.MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED:High school graduate, some college preferred. Registry in one area of Neurodiagnostics by ABRET or Registered Polysomnographic Tech by BRPTMINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:One (1) year experience in EEGMINIMUM LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BY LAW:Registry in one area of Neurodiagnostics by ABRET or Registered Polysomnographic Tech by BRPTKEY RESPONSIBILITIES:Perform patient chart review and patient interview.Perform lead placement and review impedance.Perform study acquisition of routine, sleep and portable EEGs.Complete documentation of all studies performed, complete monthly reportsCommunicate with others in the lab, nursing and physician staff.Manage the environment by keeping equipment clean and in working order.
