Position Description:JTEC Consulting is seeking a Full Stack Developer to work in support of a federal government customer. This position will support design, development, and testing for custom software solutions across multiple system components and applications. Qualified candidates will have experience implementing microservices with Python. A current security clearance with full scope polygraph is required for consideration.
Duties and responsibilities:Work as part of a blended government and contractor team supporting software solutionsParticipate in creating an implementation or integration approach for applications and componentsSupport translating system requirements into design specificationsServe as the primary support for installation of application releases into productionProvide hands-on design and code applications according to programming standards and interface specificationsSupport program documentation, as requiredSupport program deliverables, as assignedEducation and qualifications:Current TS/SCI clearance with Full Scope Polygraph required for considerationBachelor's degree; equivalent years of related experience will be considered in lieu of a degree3+ years of related full stack development experience with:Python service or API developmentData layer experience using MongoDB, DynamoDB, SQLContainerization experience using Docker, Kubernetes or Podman platformsExperience developing, deploying and maintaining microservices on AWS or Azure cloud platformsExperience working with Agile/ScrumEffective written and verbal communication skills to excel in a blended government and contractor team environmentAbility to work on-site in Tysons Corner areaJTEC Consulting LLC provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any type without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state, or local laws.
