Together we are creating new possibilities for people living with diabetes, their loved ones, and the healthcare providers through a positively different experience.INNOVATE EVERYDAY:Tandem Diabetes Care Switzerland is developing Sigi, a next-generation insulin “patch pump” that will offer additional treatment options for people with diabetes. here .A DAY IN THE LIFE:The Sigi insulin management system is composed of various parts and components, combining mechanics, electronics, and software. The Mobile Developer will be accountable for designing and developing software applications. This role works independently to identify software improvements and contribute to the overall testing and validation of software products.Working from Tandem Diabetes Care Switzerland’s office onsite in Switzerland, you’ll have to….Contribute to organization and facilitation of scrum ceremonies including standup, sprint planning, backlog grooming, retrospective, demos.Code subparts of our Mobile Apps software.Create, maintain, and review software Architecture, Design specifications, interface descriptions, and other software documentation.Test and improve the software system in order to improve performance and reliability.Manage software subprojects.Partner closely with other team members to successfully bring prototypes in clinical study.Ensure compliance with company policies, including Privacy/HIPAA, and other legal and regulatory requirements.YOU’RE AWESOME AT:Strong knowledge in iOS development for mobile devices using Swift.Familiar with iOS frameworks such as RxSwift, Core Data, and SwiftUI.Proven experience with BLE is essential.Understand Change Control, Design Control, and Software Development Life Cycle management in the context of iOS app development.Knowledge of automated testing frameworks and tools for iOS development, such as XCTest, is essential.Familiarity with Static code analysis tools like Sonar Cloud.Advanced Knowledge in CI/CD and automation.Fluent in English and French (preferred).Experience in Flutter/Dart is a plus.Deep knowledge and experience with formal medical device software lifecycle is a plus.YOU’LL NEED:Bachelor’s degree in engineering or computer sciences or related field or equivalent combination of education and applicable job experience.5 plus years’ experience in the field of mobile software development for medical devices or a related area.2 plus years' experience in IoS frameworks such as RxSwift, Core Data and SwiftUIKnowledge of ISO 13485, ISO 14971, ISO 62366, ISO 62304 and guidance on Cybersecurity and Data Protection is a plus.WHAT’S IN IT FOR YOU?In addition to innovative technology, we have a culture that fosters the idea that the happiest people are the most productive people.
