Please indicate your availability when applying for this position.Job Description:Teaches a full range of courses in Italian language, literature, and culture.Prepares and delivers learning activities to achieve course outcomesPrepares course materials such as syllabi, homework assignments, and handoutsEvaluates and grades students’ workMaintains and submits student records by specified deadlinesAvailable to students for coachingAttends meetings with supervisors, division, or College related to teaching duties and trainingRequired Qualifications:Master’s degree or higher in Italian; or master’s degree in a related field with at least 18 graduate-level course hours in ItalianDemonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (or equivalent)Advanced communication and organizational skillsSensitivity to respond to the needs of a diverse populationPreferred Qualifications:Teaching experienceSpecial Note:
This is a part-time (adjunct) faculty position. Candidates will be interviewed and hired on an as-needed basis throughout the 2024-2025 academic year.Additional Documents Required:
