User Interface Designer Austin, TX, USA

We are looking for an experienced UI Designer to support our exciting SaaS point of sale platform in the salon, spa, and service spaces. The ideal candidate will have experience in creating mockups, collecting feedback, and creating exceptional designs and concepts. This individual should be comfortable with building sitemaps, wireframes, and prototypes to provide to product owners and execute based on outlined criteria. The candidate should have strong creative and design skills and be familiar with various design technologies.Responsibilities:Create, improve, and use wireframes, prototypes, style guides, user flows, and effectively communicate your interaction ideas using any of these methods.Present and advocate your design decisions based on the overall design roadmap and your design thinking and fundamental principles (e.g., color theory, visual weight, etc.)Stay updated with the latest changes in industry standards.Design modern software/web interfaces that are cross-platform, multi-screen, responsive, and follow design trends like Clean, iOS, Flat, Material Design.Communicate scenarios, end-to-end experiences, interaction models, and screen designs to stakeholders.Maintain professional and positive relationships with coworkers and clients. Communicate and collaborate with coworkers both in person and remotely.Prioritize assignments, meet deadlines, and work with minimal oversight.Effectively communicate and collaborate with coworkers internationally.Requirements:A proven track record supported by a portfolio.Bachelor's degree in user experience, design, or related field.3 years of experience with UI design.Experience creating UI specs, sitemaps, and wireframes with the flexibility to move quickly from idea to execution.Experience with creating icons.Ability to work well in an interdisciplinary, fast-paced environment.Passion for emerging technologies.Extreme attention to detail and consistency.English fluency with excellent writing skills.Familiarity with Agile/Scrum framework.Hybrid work model: 3 days in the office, 2 days remote, based on performance and goal achievement.
