Software Developer

JANUS Research Group is seeking a Software Developer in support of the NAWCAD WOLF IC2&IS division to perform tasks in support of assigned Distance Learning and Knowledge Management related technologies and systems.Job Responsibilities:Responsible for leading and directing a team providing operations and maintenance support to deployed suites of software.Research, design, and develop computer and network software or specialized utility programs.Analyze user needs and develop software solutions, applying principles and techniques of computer science, engineering, and mathematical analysis.Update software or enhance existing software capabilities.Work with computer hardware engineers to integrate hardware and software systems and develop specifications and performance requirements.Maintain databases within an application area while working individually or coordinating database development as part of a team.Responsible for researching, testing, building, and integrating new products or major enhancements.Required Education and Experience:BS degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Information Systems, or Computer Science, from an ABET accredited or CAE designated institutionAdditionally, at least five years of the experience must be in developing software on agile development projects consisting of at least two teams of five team members.Additionally, at least five years of the experience must be related to leading software efforts of similar size to those identified in the TO.These aforementioned years of required experience may be conducted concurrently.Certified Secure Software Lifecycle Professional (CSSLP) certification from the International Information System Security Certification Consortium (ISC2).
