A law firm is seeking a dedicated and experienced Private Client Associate Attorney to join their team in Florham Park, NJ. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in estate planning and administration, along with some experience in elder law matters.Job Overview:
The Private Client Associate Attorney will provide comprehensive legal services to clients in matters related to estate planning, administration, and elder law. The successful candidate will work collaboratively in a client-focused environment to deliver high-quality legal solutions.Duties:
Prepare trust agreements, wills, and other estate-planning documentsHandle probate proceedings and administer trustsPrepare estate tax returns and provide tax planning adviceAssist with elder law matters, including Medicaid planning and guardianshipsConduct legal research and analysisDraft legal memoranda, pleadings, and other documentsRepresent clients in estate litigation proceedings (experience preferred)Requirements:
Minimum of 3 years of experience in estate planning and administration functionsAdmission to the New Jersey Bar is required, with admission to the New York Bar strongly preferredExcellent academic credentials from an accredited law schoolStrong written and oral communication skillsAbility to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environmentMotivated to succeed and produce top-quality work with minimal supervisionEducation:
Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law schoolCertifications:
Admission to the New Jersey BarAdmission to the New York Bar (preferred)Skills:
Proficiency in estate planning and administrationKnowledge of elder law principles and Medicaid planningLegal research and writing skillsAttention to detail and accuracyAbility to prioritize tasks and manage workload effectively
