Labor Attorney

A law firm in Atlanta, GA, is seeking a skilled Labor Attorney with a strong background in labor law and a minimum of 2+ years of experience in employment/labor law, including labor arbitrations, unfair labor practice charges, collective bargaining, and union campaigns. The ideal candidate should possess a Juris Doctor degree and must be licensed to practice law in the state of residence.Duties:Provide legal counsel and representation to clients in labor law matters, including but not limited to labor arbitrations, unfair labor practice charges, collective bargaining negotiations, and union campaigns.Conduct legal research, and analyze case law, statutes, and regulations related to labor law issues.Draft legal documents such as complaints, briefs, motions, and contracts about labor law cases.Represent clients in administrative proceedings, hearings, and court trials related to labor disputes.Collaborate with clients, other attorneys, and legal support staff to develop case strategies and achieve favorable outcomes.Requirements:Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.Must be licensed to practice law and in good standing in the state of residence.Continuing licensure for law practice must be maintained during employment.Completion of formal studies in labor law is preferred.Minimum of 2+ years of experience in labor law/employment law, focusing on labor arbitrations, unfair labor practice charges, collective bargaining, and union campaigns.An outstanding academic record is preferred.
