Responsible for the design, implementation, maintenance, and optimization of core network infrastructure. Manages and troubleshoots network devices including Cisco switches, Nexus, Palo alto and FortiGate devices. Configures and optimizes BGP routing, both internally and with ISPs. Conducts complex tests to ensure the operability and security of the network. Mentors junior team members and integrates F5 with other network components. Automates network tasks using Ansible. Identifies network needs and capabilities from both an end-user and operational perspective. Troubleshoots advanced network problems and works on medium to large-scale network issues accordingly.Job Responsibilities:Design, implement, and maintain core network infrastructure.? Designs and manage LANs, WANs, SD-WAN, network segments, Internet, and intranet systems.? Configure and optimize BGP routing, both internally and with ISPs.? Manage and troubleshoot Cisco switches, Nexus, and FortiGate Firewalls.? Integrate F5 with other network components.? Automate network tasks using Ansible.Monitoring and Security:? Monitor network to maintain integrity and security.? Conduct tests to ensure operability and security of the network.? Perform Root-Cause-Analysis (RCA) and advanced troubleshooting.? Implement and manage firewalls and security protocols (Palo Alto, FortiGate).Team Collaboration and Leadership:? Mentor junior team members.? Lead and support network-related technical discussions.? Supervise personnel or lead implementation tasks as assigned.? Be available for on-call rotation.Network Optimization:? Optimize and maintain network services such as VPN gateways, OSPF, BGP, IPv4/IPv6, and GRE Tunnels.?
