Responsibilities: Design and implement network infrastructure solutions that meet the organization's requirements, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security. Collaborate with internal teams to gather network requirements and provide technical expertise during the design and implementation phases. Configure and troubleshoot network hardware, software, and protocols, including routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers. Implement and maintain network security measures, including firewall configurations, access controls, and intrusion detection/prevention systems. Develop and maintain comprehensive network documentation, including network diagrams, configurations, and standard operating procedures. Job Requirements Qualifications: Five years or equivalent experience, demonstrating a strong foundation in networking concepts and technologies. Proven field experience with hardware refreshes, switches, and firewalls, specifically with Cisco model 9300 switches, Cisco ASA firewalls, and Cisco firepower software modules. Enterprise-level working knowledge of IP networks, routing, switching, and network protocols. Extensive expertise with Firepower Threat Defense (FTD) mode firewalls, including migrations from ASA with firepower to FTD. Proficiency with Cisco Secure Firewall Management Center (FMC) management platform. Expert knowledge and implementation experience with security features and best practice configurations for Cisco FTD firewalls via FMC and Cisco Catalyst switches. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. CCNP certification preferred but not required. Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
