Position Overview: Johnsonville, LLC, a strong, high-growth company, has an excellent opportunity for an outstanding individual to join us as Plant Controller at our Holton production facility. This position will play a key role within the Holton leadership team, which is committed to member development, manufacturing excellence, and continuous improvement.Responsibilities:Provide thought leadership and insight on achievement of plant key performance metrics with a strong focus on cost reduction and improved operating efficienciesBuild Relationships at all levels of the plant including Core Team, Team Leaders, & Floor Members; Earn a seat at the table for both formal and informal meetingsTake a hands-on approach to the business of making sausage, understanding all aspects of plant operations and drivers of our successTurn data into insight, leveraging our data-rich environment to shine a light on areas of opportunity. Turn insight into action, leveraging relationships and influence with operational partners to create positive changeBring numbers to life using clear & concise dashboards, translating operational metrics and financial numbers to a message, relating the message to themes people relate to and understand easilyLead the Integrated Business Planning (IBP) and annual operating plan process for the Holton facility, linking operational metrics to financial outcomes. Coordinate efforts with those of the central cost accounting teamDeliver for Results; take a leadership role in ensuring that the facility cost per unit meets expectations for the current and future years, course correcting where neededGuide the Commercial teams in developing meaningful and reliable product cost estimates for new products by leveraging operational expertise from project team membersCritically evaluate new business opportunities; Participate and provide insight for proposed capital (IRR, cost savings, post-mortems) & cost reduction initiativesDrive the development of procedures and controls that ensure meaningful and reliable product costs and accurate inventoriesCoach and develop direct reportsEducation:Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance requiredCMA, CPA, and / or MBA preferredExperience:Six or more (6+) years of accounting and finance experience required, including management experienceStrong working knowledge of manufacturing operations and product costingProactive self-starter with excellent analytical, leadership, and communication skillsExtensive practical systems knowledge (SAP preferred)Demonstrated Project and Change Management abilities
