Box Truck Driver

Responsibilities:Safely operate a box truck to transport goods and materials to and from designated locations within the local areaLoad and unload cargo, ensuring that it is secured properly to prevent damage during transitFollow delivery schedules and routes to ensure timely delivery of goods to customersInspect vehicles for mechanical issues and perform basic maintenance as neededAdhere to all traffic laws and regulations, as well as company policies and proceduresMaintain accurate records of deliveries, including delivery times, mileage, and fuel consumptionProvide excellent customer service, including handling inquiries and resolving any delivery-related issues promptlyCommunicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and other team members to coordinate delivery activitiesQualifications:

High school diploma or equivalentValid driver's license with a clean driving recordProven experience as a box truck driver or similar role for minimum of 2 yearsExcellent driving skills and knowledge of local traffic laws and regulationsAbility to lift and move heavy objects and operate lifting equipment as neededStrong attention to detail and ability to follow instructionsGood communication and customer service skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamFlexibility to work evenings, weekends, and overtime as needed
